Godfrey is an accomplished public health specialist, field epidemiologist, researcher, and consultant with extensive experience in sexual and reproductive health, disease surveillance, outbreak investigation, health systems strengthening, and evidence-informed program and policy support. He brings a powerful blend of academic excellence, hands-on field experience, and strategic advisory expertise to his work, making him a trusted advisor to governments, development partners, NGOs, and academic institutions.

As a field epidemiologist, Godfrey brings a strong analytical lens to surveillance and response systems. He has contributed to strengthening routine disease surveillance, analyzing outbreak data, and improving early warning systems to support timely public health action. This epidemiological expertise enhances his consulting work, particularly in health security, emergency preparedness, monitoring and evaluation, and performance management.
Godfrey is also deeply committed to capacity building and mentorship. He has trained and mentored students, researchers, health workers, and program teams in epidemiology, research methods, data analytics, MEAL, proposal writing, and evidence utilization. His mentorship approach emphasizes the transfer of practical skills, critical thinking, and professional independence, ensuring lasting benefits for individuals and institutions.
